As a fundraiser, remember that starting a campaign/selling on Ink to the People comes at no cost to you! Absolutely zero. The base cost of our products, however, can be found in our Design Tool when setting up your campaign.
Determine the Base Cost of a Standard Campaign Garment:
- The product (ie. t-shirt or tote) and brand (ie. Gildan or Canvas)
- The amount of colors used in your design
- The number of surfaces printed on (Front, Back, Sleeve, etc.)
- A few variables must be considered:
Once you complete the design of your garment, and you select the products you wish to sell in your campaign (you can select up to 12 products), our Design Tool will calculate the base cost of each product. Then, you set the selling price to determine your donation profit margin. (Our Design Tool will display this number as well.)
Determine the Total Donation Amount Per Product:
We must know how many of each product you sell when your campaign ends. (We find that 30-day campaigns are most successful.) The more product sold, the lower the base cost becomes; therefore, your donation profit margin increases!
This is why we aren't able to give exact donation amounts until your campaign closes. But, our Pricing Matrix gives popular pricing scenarios. Put into practice, here is what you're campaign could like:
You create a 1-color, basic short-sleeve t-shirt. At the end of your campaign you have sold 99! Way to go! Because you set the selling price at $15.00 when you launched your campaign, your donation profit margin is $4.70 per shirt, $465.30 total! (Shucks! If only you sold 102 shirts... you could have made $5.50 per shirt, $561 total.)
